Drawing Tool Help

This simple drawing tool allows the user to draw (or trace) on any of the displayed maps and the drawing will be displayed in the Drawing Tool section. The idea is for the user to propose how Palestine can be divided between a Palestinian and an Israeli state.

The displayed maps show land use, aquifers and other water resources, sea depths (for potential ports), topography, land types, existing towns and villages, current political divisions etc. These can assist the user in suggesting equitable divisions.

The ideal is for both states to be physically continuous, each to have access to the sea, each to have an equitable share of the water resources, agricultural land etc. This will most likely have to include land concessions/swaps on both sides, and also possibly population exchanges.

While this may sound like pie-in-the-sky thinking, if enough people across the world get involved, it will put pressure on both sides to come to the table with realistic proposals.
